After having my Notion blog for a while, I realized I stopped writing on it, but didn’t understand why. I mean, the friction of having to pull, write, push and deploy was gone. Why did I drop it? Did I hate writing?

I realized that I hadn’t actually stopped writing, I just stopped creating pages in the blog DB and kept writing in one long note where I just dropped ideas as they came every day.

So I tapped into that habit, created a journal type page where I now just add a new line after a horizontal rule in Notion and it becomes a new entry in a journal, which can also work as a blog post.

Found myself second guessing the different widths, line heights, font size, and such. Enabling reader mode in iPad. And thought it’d be cool to have a built-in reader mode. Also empowers users to read the way that’s most comfortable to them. One step close to a full publishing-delivery suite. Check it out! 😮
